Op 27 mei 2020 promoveerde Jack Yang aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam op het proefschrift getiteld: ‘The role of the complement and contact systems in allergic asthma’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotoren prof. dr. T. van der Poll en prof. dr. E.H. Bel, en copromotor dr. C. van ‘t Veer. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
